Hydro Jetting Services in Southern Indiana
When Snaking Isn't Enough, We Bring the Pressure.
The Fix for Clogs That Keep Coming Back
Standard drain snaking breaks through the blockage, but it doesn’t remove what’s stuck to the pipe walls. Grease, soap scum, mineral scale, and tree roots grow back quickly. Within weeks or months, the clog returns.
Hydro jetting solves this by sending a focused stream of high-pressure water (typically 3,000 to 4,000 PSI) through the pipe. It strips buildup from the full diameter of the line, leaving the inside of the pipe clean. For homes and businesses in our service area, where aging clay and cast-iron pipes are common, this level of cleaning makes a real difference.
We serve residential and commercial customers across Clark County, Floyd County, Harrison County, and the greater Louisville metro. Our team runs a camera inspection before jetting to confirm the pipe condition and make sure it’s safe to jet. You’ll see what we see and understand exactly what’s going on inside your line.
Signs Your Pipes Need Hydro Jetting
Drains That Clog Again and Again
If you’ve had the same drain cleaned two or three times in the past year, snaking alone isn’t cutting it. Heavy buildup on the pipe walls keeps catching debris and re-forming the clog. Jetting removes the buildup entirely.
Urgency: Schedule before the next backup.
Multiple Drains Running Slow
When several drains slow down at once, the problem is usually in your main sewer line. Sediment, grease, and root growth narrow the main line over time. Hydro jetting restores full flow to the entire system.
Urgency: Call this week. A main line restriction affects every fixture.
Heavy Grease Buildup
Kitchen drains and commercial grease lines collect layers of hardened grease that snaking can’t fully remove. Hydro jetting cuts through grease deposits and flushes them completely out of the pipe.
Urgency: Schedule soon, especially for restaurants and food service businesses.
Tree Roots Growing Into Sewer Lines
Roots enter through cracks and joints in older clay and cast-iron sewer pipes. Once inside, they expand and trap debris. Jetting cuts small roots and clears the resulting blockage. For heavy root damage, we may recommend sewer line repair.
Urgency: Call today. Roots grow fast and will re-block the line.
Sewage Smells You Can't Trace
A persistent sewer smell near drains, clean-outs, or your yard often means organic material is trapped in the pipe walls. Jetting removes the buildup and eliminates the source of the odor.
Urgency: Schedule soon. The smell indicates active buildup.
Prepping for a Camera Inspection
If we need to inspect your sewer line for damage, jetting clears the line first so the camera gets a clean view. This gives us the most accurate picture of your pipe condition before recommending any repairs.
Urgency: We’ll recommend this when a camera scope is needed.

What We Jet
- Residential Sewer Lines
Main sewer lines from your home to the city connection. We clear grease, scale, roots, and debris from the full length of the pipe. Older homes in the Louisville metro area (median build year around 1965) often have clay laterals that collect root growth at every joint.
- Kitchen and Bathroom Branch Lines
Individual branch lines from sinks, showers, and tubs to the main stack. Jetting smaller lines requires lower pressure and specialized nozzles to match the pipe size safely.
- Commercial Drain and Grease Lines
- Floor Drains and Utility Lines
Basement floor drains, laundry lines, and utility drains that collect sediment over time. Jetting restores flow and prevents future backups, especially in flood-prone Ohio River valley basements.
Why Hydro Jetting Beats Repeated Snaking
- Cleans the Entire Pipe, Not Just the Clog
Snaking punches through the blockage. Jetting scrubs the full inner wall of the pipe clean. That means the buildup that was feeding the clog is gone, not just pushed aside.
- Results That Last Months or Years
A properly jetted line stays clean much longer than a snaked line. Most residential lines stay clear for one to three years after jetting, depending on usage and tree root activity.
- Safer Than Chemical Drain Cleaners
Chemical cleaners corrode pipes from the inside, especially older cast-iron and galvanized lines. High-pressure water cleans without chemical damage. We adjust pressure based on pipe material and condition.
- Camera-Verified Before and After
We run a sewer camera before jetting to confirm the pipe can handle it, and after to verify the line is clean. You see the results on screen. No guesswork.
- Handles What Snaking Can't
Hardened grease, mineral scale, and root masses that a cable snake slides past are no match for 3,000+ PSI of focused water pressure. Jetting is the professional-grade solution for the toughest drain problems.
What a Hydro Jetting Service Call Looks Like
We start with a sewer camera inspection to see what’s going on inside the pipe. This tells us the type of buildup, the pipe material, and whether there’s any damage that jetting could worsen. If the pipe is safe to jet, we proceed. If not, we’ll recommend the right repair option.
During jetting, we feed a specialized nozzle into the line through a clean-out access point. The nozzle blasts water forward and backward, scouring the pipe walls as it moves through the line. The process takes 1 to 3 hours, depending on the pipe length and severity of the buildup.
After jetting, we run the camera again to confirm the line is clean and check for any underlying issues that were hidden under the buildup. We show you the before-and-after footage and walk you through what we found. As always, we protect your floors, wear shoe covers, and clean up the work area before we leave.

Hydro Jetting Questions
Straight answers, no filler.
Still have a question?
Call us directly — we’ll give you a straight answer, never a sales pitch.
How much does hydro jetting cost?
Pricing depends on the line location, length, and severity of buildup. We provide upfront pricing after the camera inspection, so you know exactly what you’re paying before we start.
Will hydro jetting damage my pipes?
Not when done properly. We always camera-inspect first to check the pipe condition and material. We adjust pressure to match, and we won’t jet a line that’s too fragile to handle safely.
How often should I schedule hydro jetting?
Most residential lines stay clean for 1 to 3 years after jetting. Commercial kitchens and grease lines may need jetting every 6 to 12 months, depending on volume.
What's the difference between snaking and hydro jetting?
Do you offer hydro jetting for businesses?
Yes. We jet commercial grease lines, restaurant drains, and large-diameter sewer mains. See our commercial plumbing services for more on what we offer businesses.
