Southern Indiana's Drain Cleaning Experts
Clogged Drain? We'll Get It Flowing Again.
A clogged drain can turn your morning upside down. Whether it’s a slow kitchen sink, a backed-up shower, or a main line that won’t budge, our team shows up ready to work. We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Southern Indiana and the Louisville metro with same-day service, hydro jetting for stubborn clogs, and emergency plumbing around the clock.
When Your Drains Need Professional Help
A slow drain might seem like a small problem, but left alone, it usually gets worse. Grease, soap, hair, and mineral buildup collect inside your pipes over time. Eventually, what started as a sluggish sink turns into standing water or a full backup.
We handle drain cleaning for residential and commercial properties throughout Clark County, Floyd County, Harrison County, and the greater Louisville metro area. Our trucks are fully stocked with professional-grade drain snakes, augers, and camera equipment, so most clogs are cleared on the same visit. We show up ready, explain your options before we start, and clean up when we’re finished.
With three generations of plumbing experience and an Indiana Master Plumber license, we know drains inside and out. Whether it’s a kitchen sink, floor drain, or main sewer line, we’ll figure out what’s wrong and get it fixed.
Signs It's Time to Call a Drain Cleaning Pro
Slow Draining Sink or Tub
Water pools around your feet in the shower or takes minutes to drain from the sink. This usually means the buildup is narrowing the pipe inside. A professional cleaning clears the line completely, not just the surface clog.
Urgency: Schedule this week before it becomes a full blockage.
Gurgling Sounds From Drains
Air trapped behind a partial clog causes gurgling when water tries to pass through. You might hear it in the sink, tub, or toilet. It’s a warning that the blockage is building.
Urgency: Call soon. Gurgling often leads to a full backup within days.
Water Backing Up Into Other Fixtures
When you flush the toilet and water rises in the shower, or run the washing machine and the floor drain overflows, the clog is likely in your main line, not a single fixture.
Urgency: Call today. Mainline clogs affect your entire home.
Standing Water That Won't Drain
If water sits in the basin and doesn’t move, the line is fully blocked. Store-bought drain cleaners rarely solve this and can damage older pipes. A professional snake or auger clears the blockage safely.
Urgency: Call now. Standing water breeds bacteria and can overflow.
Bad Smell Coming From Drains
A sewage or rotten-egg smell from your drain usually means organic material is trapped in the line. In older homes, it can also signal a damaged or dry P-trap. We’ll pinpoint the cause and clear it out.
Urgency: Schedule soon. The smell won’t go away on its own.
Multiple Drains Clogging at Once
When more than one drain backs up at the same time, the problem is deeper in your system. This points to a main sewer line issue that needs professional equipment to diagnose and clear.
Urgency: Call today. This could lead to a sewer backup. Sewer Line Repair

Types of Drain Cleaning We Handle
- Kitchen Drain Cleaning
- Bathroom Drain Cleaning
Hair, soap scum, and toothpaste collect in bathroom sink, shower, and tub drains. We clear the line and check for deeper issues like corroded pipes in older homes. About 13.5% of homes in the Louisville metro were built before the 1940s, and aging pipes clog more easily.
- Main Sewer Line Cleaning
When the main line clogs, everything backs up. Root intrusion, grease, and debris are the usual culprits. We use motorized augers and sewer cameras to locate and clear the blockage. If the line needs more than cleaning, we’ll walk you through your repair options.
- Floor Drain and Utility Drain Cleaning
Basement floor drains, laundry drains, and utility drains collect sediment and debris over time. These drains often go unnoticed until they back up during heavy rain or laundry cycles. We clear them and make sure the line is flowing properly.
Why Professional Drain Cleaning Pays Off
- Clears the Full Blockage, Not Just the Surface
Store-bought drain cleaners punch a small hole through the clog but leave buildup on the pipe walls. Professional equipment removes the entire blockage, restoring full pipe diameter and flow.
- Protects Older Pipes From Chemical Damage
Chemical drain cleaners corrode cast iron, galvanized steel, and older PVC joints. Many homes in our service area still have original piping from the 1950s-1970s. Professional mechanical cleaning is safer for your plumbing.
- Identifies Hidden Problems Early
During a drain cleaning, we can spot signs of root intrusion, cracked pipes, or heavy scale buildup before they turn into expensive repairs. Catching a damaged section early can save thousands compared to an emergency dig later.
- Prevents Sewer Backups
Parts of the Louisville metro sewer system date back to 1867, with aging infrastructure throughout the region. Older clay laterals connecting your home to the main are especially prone to root intrusion and collapse. Regular cleaning keeps the flow moving and reduces backup risk.
- Saves Money Over Time
A recurring clog that gets “fixed” with chemicals every few months adds up fast. One professional cleaning often solves the problem for good. And if we find a deeper issue, we give you options and honest pricing before any work starts.
What Every Service Call Includes
When you call us for drain cleaning, here’s what happens. We show up on time in a fully stocked truck. We protect your floors with tarps and wear shoe covers inside your home. We diagnose the problem, explain what we found, and walk you through your options before we touch a wrench.
Most drain cleaning calls include: a visual inspection of the affected drain, professional snaking or augering to clear the blockage, a post-clearing flow test, and cleanup of the work area. If we need a sewer camera to inspect the line further, we’ll let you know before running it. No surprise charges.
We offer same-day and next-day appointments for scheduled service, plus 24/7 availability for emergencies. Whether you’re a homeowner in Jeffersonville or a business owner in Clarksville, we treat every job the same: show up ready, do clean work, and leave your home better than we found it.

Drain Cleaning Questions
Straight answers, no filler.
Still have a question?
Call us directly — we’ll give you a straight answer, never a sales pitch.
How much does drain cleaning cost?
Cost depends on the location and severity of the clog. We provide upfront pricing after diagnosing the problem, so you know exactly what you’re paying before we start. No hidden fees.
How long does drain cleaning take?
Most single-drain clogs are cleared in 30 to 60 minutes. Main line cleaning can take 1 to 2 hours, depending on what we find. We’ll give you a time estimate before we begin.
Should I use store-bought drain cleaner first?
We don’t recommend it. Chemical drain cleaners can corrode older pipes and usually only punch a small hole through the clog. The blockage comes back quickly. Professional cleaning removes the full buildup safely.
What's the difference between drain cleaning and hydro jetting?
Drain cleaning uses a mechanical snake or auger to break through the clog. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the entire pipe wall clean. Jetting is better for grease buildup, root intrusion, or recurring clogs.
